That is our goal—to see Christ exalted as head above all! This is the purpose and theme of Xtreme 2006, to give us an opportunity to discover how we can do this and to pursue the application of this knowledge. So, from July 12–15, more than 500 high-schoolers, college students, and their parents will gather together from all over the state of Florida and beyond to experience convicting teaching, passionate worship, and biblical fellowship with one another…all for the purpose of exalting Christ “Above All.”
With us this year will be Grant Layman from Covenant Life Church and Curtis Allen (also known as “Voice”)! Grant is our main-session speaker and will be unpacking for us the meaning of “Above All.” Curtis will be with us live, in concert, to bring us the truth of the gospel in the form of rap.
Xtreme began more than seven years ago as a way to bring students together with one purpose: to glorify God. Led by Jeremy Jones, Xtreme is now one of the highlights of the year for Sovereign Grace churches in Florida. (Every other year, in place of Xtreme, Mission:X takes place.)
