Tucson, AZ >> October 8–9 was a big weekend for three churches. Jonathan Baird from Abundant Life Community Church (Pasadena, CA) married Nicole Lambros from Sovereign Grace Church (Tucson, AZ). Members of both churches celebrated together at the wedding on Saturday. On Sunday, Pasadena folks led worship at the Tucson church. And on both days, folks from Sovereign Grace Church of Gilbert (AZ) served in the sound booth. Nicole's dad, Tim Lambros (senior pastor of the Tucson church), sent us this email and photo:
It really was a great weekend. The wedding was awesome. (Jonathan Baird wrote and sung a song to Nicole during the ceremony. There wasn't a dry eye in the place.) On Sunday the Pasadena worship team led our worship. They brought a passionate demonstration of expressive worship. Most people felt like they were at a Celebration type event! Then Lynn Baird (Jonathan's dad) brought a great message on worship. I told them that Sunday rocketed to one of the top five Sunday morning memories we have had as a church. It was a blast!
